Learn the rhythm, essential steps,
turns and how to vary the basics,
so you have a practical foundation
for dancing at your
own pace and without complicated
technicalities.

Perhaps you’ve wanted to learn Salsa for a while
Maybe you’re completely new and nervous about getting it wrong. Maybe you’ve tried a few classes, but they felt too difficult, too repetitive or simply didn’t feel natural to you.
Maybe there’s finally a reason to learn a partner who loves dancing, a wedding, a trip, a Latin event — or maybe you simply feel that it’s time to finally learn

I teach Salsa as a social dance — not as something you have to perform perfectly.
The goal is to understand the rhythm, become comfortable with the basic movement and learn how to keep dancing even when something doesn’t go exactly as planned.
Mistakes are part of dancing. What matters is being able to recover, stay with the music and keep going.
The course starts with the basics and gradually shows you how to use them, so you’re not just memorising movements without understanding what you’re doing.
Start by changing the way you think about mistakes, so you can practise without expecting everything to be perfect.
Learn the basic steps and rhythm that give you the foundation for everything else in the course.
Understand how a basic movement can be changed and used in different ways, instead of feeling that there is only one correct way to dance.
Learn simple turns and how they fit with the basic movement you already know.
Use a simple sequence to connect what you’ve learned and practise moving from one idea to another.

I’ve spent years teaching adults who are nervous, completely new, or simply need Salsa explained in a way that makes more sense to them.
“A great way to get started. Your patience and understanding quickly what we needed to start with, and adapting as we moved forward. We will recommend it to others.”
Along with the video lessons, you’ll also get a small collection of PDF guides covering some of the social situations that beginner dance classes often leave out.
Simple guidance to help you feel more comfortable navigating real social dance situations.
A practical guide to understanding some of the signals and boundaries that come up when dancing socially.
Guidance for the social side before, during and after a dance.
A guide to the human side of dancing with another person, beyond simply learning the steps.
Learn online at your own pace, repeat the lessons whenever you need, and keep access to the course so you can come back to the foundations as you improve.
Yes. The course starts with the foundations and is designed for people who are completely new to Salsa, as well as people who have tried a few classes and want to go back over the basics at their own pace.
No. You can work through the course on your own. The focus is on understanding rhythm, basic movement, turns and how the foundations fit together.
That is one of the reasons rhythm exercises are included. You do not need to arrive already knowing how to follow Salsa music. The course helps you start recognising the timing and practising your movement with it.
Yes. Latin Dance Mastery focuses on beginner Salsa foundations. The aim is not to teach every Latin dance style, but to help you build a practical foundation in Salsa without making it unnecessarily complicated.
Here, mastery means understanding the foundations well rather than rushing into advanced moves. You will focus on rhythm, basic steps, variations, turns and putting those elements together.
The course contains around two hours of video lessons. You do not need to complete them all at once. You can work through them at your own pace and revisit lessons whenever you need.
You receive lifetime access, so you can return to the lessons as often as you need while you practise and improve.
